Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM5122
(30A), Hello there,
I am in the process of designing a separate Boost and a Buck DC-Dc converter. Here are my requirements:
---------------------------------------------
FOR BOOST:
Vin Nominal = 12V ( it is a 12V battery so voltage may drop to 9 V minimum)
Vout= 24 V
I out= As much as possible, (I have many small servos).
FOR BUCK:
Vin Nominal = 12V ( it is a 12V battery so voltage may drop to 9 V minimum)
Vout= 8 V
I out= As much as possible.
---------------------------------------------
When I use the online Power Designer tool for the boost converter, it suggests me to use TPS43060 which is indicated that it has 100A Iout(Max)!!!!! My second suggested option is LM3481.
For Buck converter, I get the following suggestions: LM27402 (Iout(Max)=40A) and TPS40305 (25)
I just want to make sure that I am on the right path and these ICs can do the job as mentioned in software.
Thanks,
