Hi,
The apps engineer supporting this device is out of the office on vacation. I will attempt to route this to another resource but a response might be delayed somewhat.
Thanks,
Christian
Hi, the Cfb capacitor will add a pole and a zero to the control loop. When placed near the cross-over frequency, it can help to improve phase margin and bandwidth which will translate to improvement in the transient response (such as the overshoot you mention). I recommend the app note below which describes the process to come up with the Cfb value. The app note is for DC-DC converters but the concept is the same.
