When this IC is connected to the POE hub instead of POE + during the POE handshakeIs it designed to limit the output of your own POE?

Thank you for your question.
When the TPS2376-H is connected to a PoE hub, this device will perform the PoE handshake for up to 13W power level (Class 3) and limit the power to that level. So if this device is connected to a 30W PSE port and TPS2376-H is set for Class 3 power levels, the TPS2376-H will limit the power received at the PD to 13W maximum.
