The TIIC European Design Contest 2016 – your chance to win $5000 and entrepreneurship training opportunities!

The TI Innovation Challenge (TIIC) 2015 Award Ceremony that took place on November 3, 2015 at the BMW Museum in Munich marked the launch of this year’s TIIC Europe competition, which is bigger and better than ever before!

We have revamped our European Design Contest to better fit the needs and ideas of students, introducing categories, a completely redesigned website and more chances to win brand new prizes! The brightest minds will not only compete for cash prizes up to $5,000 but also for the opportunity to attend an entrepreneurship workshop. With UnternehmerTUM they will learn how to build new businesses, set up a business plan, check the acceptance of their product in the market and benefit from a unique infrastructure to build their own prototypes. This is a great opportunity to build a strong network in the industry, connecting with experts and investors!

Teams participating in the EMEA TI Innovation Challenge this year will have the chance to enter one of the following 3 categories which best suits their project:

Automotive

Industrial

Innovation

Plus, this year’s European Design Contest brings more chances to win than ever before:

  • The Top 7 teams in each category will be awarded with $1000
  • The 3 winning teams (1st place in each category) will win $5000 and the unique opportunity to take part in an entrepreneurship workshop that will provide them with all the support needed to create their own startup and bring their innovative ideas to life!

Students from all over Europe have already started entering their innovative ideas in the TIIC European Design Contest 2016 - what are you waiting for? Teams who register before February 15th will be entered in a drawing to win a TI branded T-shirt! (The terms and conditions of the drawing can be found here.)
