TI @ electronica: Self-powered sensors enabled by TI's MCUs and harvester ICs

Energy is everywhere, but is your system making the most of it? This year at electronica in Munich, Germany, Texas Instruments has created an energy harvesting sensor network! By leveraging the abilities of our ultra-low-power FRAM microcontrollers, nano-harvester devices (bq25570) and Sub-1 GHz RF transceiver (CC110L), our temperature sensors are running using only the energy from wind, thermal and indoor light sources.
