CC1312R: SmartRF Studio 7 not able to open Device Control Panel for Custom CC1312R board

Hi,

We are trying to connect SmartRF Studio7 with CC1312R1. I have connected TCK, TMC, RST between our custom board and the LauchPad. Removed all jumpers from Lauchpad also.

However, following is showing in the application

 

We were able to Debug the custom board with the XDS110 of the launchpad.

Please guide us to solve this.

    - For the JTAG interface: The recommendation would be to also use ground (to give the same potential) and if the custom board runs on a different voltage than 3.3V, VDD should also be shared to ensure that the level shifters gets the correct reference.

    - If you are able to connect with the XDS110 when running CCS and not with SmartRF studio it's not something fundamentally wrong with your jTAG connection. It could be related to the wording in the in the error message. Try to close CCS and other programs other than SmartRF Studio that could use the jTAG interface and see if this helps.
