Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP432E401Y, MSP-EXP432E401Y
Hi there,
We have a custom made board that includes an MSP432E401Y as main core and a CC2650MODA module to provide bluetooth connectivity. On this card, there is also an FT2232D programmed as XDS100v2.
I wanted to daisy chain the MSP432E401Y and CC2650MODA so that they only use a common JTAG port.
I have seen that, both using the FTDI as XDS100v2 or a Spectrum Digital XDS100v2, I can debug the MSP432E4, but not the CC2650MODA, and therefore I cannot daisy chain them.
However, using an XDS110 (included in the MSP-EXP432E401Y evaluation board) I can program both the CC2650MODA and the MSP432E4 individually, as well as in daisy chain arrangement.
I have also seen that cc2650moda recommends using XDS100v3, or XDS110 in the datasheet. Is it possible to fash CC2650MODA with XDS100v2?
I have tried to program the FT2232D as XDS100v3 for testing, using FT_Prog and the templates supplied by TI, but have not gotten it to work.
Is there a way to program the FT2232D as XDS100v3?
Is there a way to daisy chain MSP432E401Y, using XDS110v2 (ideally implemented with an FT2232D)?
Thanks in advance.
