CC2340R5: Not able to program CC2340 by uniflash.

Hi,

we try to use xds110 and uniflash to program the cc2340 but fail due to the error:
Error connecting to the target:
(Error -615 @ 0x0)
The target failed to see a correctly formatted SWD header. The
connection to the target may be unreliable. Try lowering the
TCLK setting before trying again.
Emulation package 9.11.0.00128

Any idea how to fix it?

Hi Aichi,

What version of Uniflash have you installed? This error typically indicates a connection issue between the LP-EM-CC2340R5 and LP-XDS110ET. Have you made sure that the connector is aligned properly? Otherwise please provide more details concerning your hardware setup. Have you also tried programming with CCS?

Hi,

we are using windows uniflash 8.3.0 and 8.2.0, both version will hit issue.

We are using PG2.0 IC as well. but we swap the ic to es 1.0 then it works.

I will ask customer to confirm connector or provide more details.

The customer should no longer be evaluating PG 1.0 silicon or using its resources from CC2340RX-PREVIEW. In doing so they may have corrupted the PG 2.0 CCFG and would have to recover it using a script detailed in the following E2E threads:
