CC2652R: Failure to communicate with more than 5 directly connected devices at once

Part Number: CC2652R

This is related to https://e2e.ti.com/support/wireless-connectivity/zigbee-thread-group/zigbee-and-thread/f/zigbee-thread-forum/1121005/cc2652p-how-to-set-macsrcshortaddrlist-s-and-macsrcextaddrlist-s-address-entry-size-in-sdk-6-20

We too have hit this very issue with SimpleLink SDK 6.41 and after much investigation we have confirmed the exact same limits and the issues created.

What fix is available for this issue? @ did you resolve your issue?

  • Also Forum is forcing me to post in the bluetooth category for the CC2652R hardware when it should be Zigbee.

  • Hi Matthew,

From what I can see, the value Aries reported for MAC_SRCMATCH* is still set to 5 in the 7.10 SDK (located in C:\ti\simplelink_cc13xx_cc26xx_sdk_7_10_00_98\source\ti\ti154stack\low_level\cc13xx\mac_autopend.h).
Can you try changing to a larger number and see if it improves behavior?

What Zigbee role would your application be? Coordinator/Router or End Device?

    Thanks,
    Toby
