PSPICE-FOR-TI: Failed Install for PSPICE for TI

Hi Noah,

Please trying the following:

1. Create a new environment variable called “CDS_LIC_QA_TesT” and set it to a text file like this:

   1. 

2. Close and launch PSpice for TI and run a simulation. The file will be created. As soon as you see the error, close the tool.
3. You can now rename the environment variable to something else or just deleted it so the log file won’t keep growing.
4. Post the LicLog.txt file here

Hi JC,

The problem I described above is that I cannot even install PSPICE by TI because of the screenshot shown above. That screenshot is after I go through the install manager, I get the dialog box stating the error and then the entire installer shuts down and never installs in the first place. Do you have other advice?

Sorry. In step 2, please try running the installer instead.

This is the standard debug for both installation and launching problem.

It's not supposed to "work", it's merely a process to generate some debug information.

Anyway, the log file you shared says the installer could not reach https://cdsplicwc.cadence.com/chws/test/connection.html.

Please have your IT support team examine the issue.

We have tried to install outside of our firewall/network and this website being utilized can still not be reached.

From our IT Support:

We tried the install while connecting to the internet on the company iPhone OUTSIDE of our network and it still failed. That proved the network and firewall was not the issue as the iPhone was connected directly through Verizon cellular.

 However before we did that, I already had the firewall allow list it weeks ago and still had the issue

Did you look at the log file from using this new method? Does it also have the following?
