CC2650STK: Sensor TMP007 does not mount

Hello, I started to use the CC2650STK and found that the sensor TMP007 even being present into the PCB is not being mounted. I were able to observe it is unmounted by the iOS app in my phone when I connect the board via Bluetooth. All other sensors are mounted and working properly.

I've seen in TI's site that this sensor is not being produced anymore, is that the reason it is not mounted ? If yes, is there any way to activate it just for testing purposes ?

Yes this is the reason that it's not mounted. You would need to get your hands on the TMP007 to test it.

You could also look at the newer TMP devices such as the TMP116 which we have drivers for for the CC2640R2.

Hi Falvio,

The TMP116 can be evaluated on www.ti.com/.../BOOSTXL-BASSENSORS which is compatible with the CC2640R2F LaunchPad.
