Part Number: ADC16DV160HFEB HI
when looking at the evaluation board user guide some of the items in the BOM table is listed as "NSC" does that mean that the components are not included on the board?
I have a problem with the 5223514-3 connector. No…
Part Number: ADC16DV160 Hello, Support team
I have a question about acquisition Size of WaveVision 5. When using ADC16DV160HFEB, how many maximum Acquisition Size can be set with WaveVision 5? The document has the following description.

Part Number: WAVEVISION5 Dear, the error information is shown as the figure below. I failed to solve this error according to the advice shown on the figure. Please help me.
I found the same question in another e2e thread: https://e2e.ti.com/support/data-converters-group/data-converters/f/data-converters-forum/278560/adc16dv160-eval-system?tisearch=e2e-sitesearch&keymatch=ADC16DV160HFEB#
Could you share the design file…
Hi Sugumar
I did some quick analysis of your data file and see that the noise floor is around -76 dBFS instead of the -78dBFS level I see with the ADC16DV160HFEB evaluation board.
So it seems like your platform has some source of additional noise…
The Virtex-4 source code for the WV5 data capture board interfacing to the ADC16DV160HFEB is attached below. This code is provided as a reference design and it is up to the customer to target useful code to their desired application.

Hi Fred
If you plan to evaluate the ADC16DV160 performance you need the following 2 boards:
ADC16DV160HFEB
WAVEVSN-BRD-5.1
The ADC and evaluation tools were developed before National Semiconductor became part of TI, and are not compatible…
Hi Sarika
That is the basic approach to determining the input response flatness. It is best to measure the applied signal where it is connected to the ADC input network with an oscilloscope or spectrum analyzer to quantify any variations due to the…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADC16DV160 Dear sirs,
we understand that the ENOB [dbFS] decreases with increased Vpp (of the signal sinus).
We tested different clocking devises (with different jitter numbers), clocking waveforms (squared vs. sinus…
Hi,
I have a simple question regarding WaveVision's ENOB calculation or better:
Is the ENOB increasing with increased Vpp or decreasing ?
We have the ADC16DV160HFEB eval board and we are playing around with different clocking strategies. For that…
