    AMC1210: AMC1210

    TI Thinks Resolved
Part Number: AMC1210 Hello I use the AMC1210 chip paired with the ADS1205 to measure the rotation angle of the transformer(RESOLVER). I have the following questions: 1) Can I get the initialization order of the AMC1210 chip. 2) Can a AMC1210 interaction...

RE: SPI Problem at High Temperature

Saleh, The issue and resolution in your most recent post is not related to what you are seeing here. It is possible that the timings between the F2812 and the external device are just not compatible. It could be either device that causes violations...

RE: TMDSRSLVR: Is the excitation voltage with DC offset acceptable to the resolvers?

Sounds good. Based on your experience, for resolver application, is this scheme (shown in reference design TMDSRSLVR) a sound design (compared with designs based on PGA411 or AMC1210+ADS1205, etc.)? Thanks.

RE: ADS1271: Radiated Tone in Modulator Mode

Keith, Thanks so much for the reply. Thank you for the suggestion. We added a 47pF cap on the FORMAT pin but unfortunately it did not change the 1/4096 signal shape enough to provide any significant decrease (>2dB) in the signal that is being radiated...

    ADS1204: with bridge sensors

    TI Thinks Resolved
Part Number: ADS1204 Hi, I would use delta sigma modulators with load cell. i found no reference design using modulators with load cells, Is there a reason? For my application having 14 bit effective resolution will be sufficient. I thought to use...

    RE: ADS1205 latch up

Hi again! Limiting the current to the ADS1205 to ~20mA by adding a series resistor in line with the AVDD supply should help. Is the digital supply still stable when this condition occurs?

    RE: CCS/AMC1210: Resolver interface

Hi Tom, Thank you so much. I have applied the 2's complement to the output but this has not solved the problem. However, I have noticed that the output signals from the ADS1205 are not correct. I will replace the IC and see if this will solve...

    AMC1210 / ADS1205 / External S/H race condition

Hi, We use multiple self clocking ADS1205, connected via isolation circuitry to multiple AMC1210. To somewhat sync the data of various channels / AMC1210s - we use an external 4kHz sampleclock as S/H for AMC1210. Because the ADS1205 are selfclocking...
