Here's my 2.5V VREF and 5.0V AVDD circuit base on other post ,
but I am not sure how to define these passive components. Any comments?
Hi srinivasa m,
Yes, I would suggest always following the datasheet first. Also, the ADS1256 has an integrated gain stage and buffer, so it was not clear to me why you added these to your signal chain
And any time you add components in front of the ADC…

1. If my AVDD is unstable, will it cause the ADC conversion result to fluctuate?
2. Is there any difference in the ADC conversion value when AVDD is 4.8V and 5.2V?
3. Do you have any suggestions…

I am using ADS1256. I need help with connections. I am using 2 channels of the ADC in a single-ended configuration. I am using the WAveshare High Precision AD-DA board. The two inputs come from Analog Output of ESCON 70/10. In my…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hi Team,
I have a question regarding the ADS1256 converter. I am currently reading my data in RDATAC mode, and I came across the information presented on page 22 of the datasheet, which reads:
"If there is a step change on the input…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hi,
I use ADC1256 to measure loadcell(wheatstone bridge) sensor.
Inıtialize fetures ;
data rate : 100 SPS
gain : 64
Vref : 1V
buffer : Disable
avdd : 5V
dvdd : 3.3V
I use 4 differential channels. For example, firstly, I power on and…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hi,
I use ADS1256 and configure 4 differential channels. I calibrate ADC values to 20000 then, read all channels datas.
After that, I draw data for one channel but datas include some wrong values. These look like a downtrend. How…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hello,
I am working on the prototype project of data acquisition system for that I am using the wave share high precision ad/da converter board(ad1256) with raspberry pi4 mode B, I have taken the reference code from the https://www…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hi Experts,
I have a customer inquiring about how to measure the reference voltage of ADS1256 by setting the MUX.
To add, the customer did not want to do self-cal and wanted to measure reference voltage while in normal operation mode…
Part Number: ADS1256 Hi Team,
Can you help with the issue below?
I am attempting to read the status register, and online it seems to be that the four factory ID bits should be 0011 for 3. However, I consistently measure alternating 6s and 0s. Timing…
