The flat line exists in both plots. You do not see it in the TI plot as the view is not zoomed in. This line is due to the default setting in the GUI to notch out 25 bins on both sides of the fundamental. See attached document for how to adjust…

TI no longer supports the TSW14J56EVM as it is now obsolete. The firmware developed for this platform was done by a third party, which no longer supports TI. The board has a JTAG connector that will allow you to download your own custom firmware…

I do not know much about the AFE5818, but no ADC is perfect and every capture will be slightly different due to the lower bits of the ADC toggling.

The results from the software can be displayed in either dBFs, dBc or Hertz. See sections 3.6.1.5 and 3.6 of the attached User's Guide for more info.
