Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5402 I am working on a new design with the ADS5402 and I have a question regarding the voltage tolerance of IOVDD. The datasheet has one line stating that IOVDD can be supplied from 1.7 - 3.45V. However, the rest of…

Hi,
We have evaluated ADC12D800RF and ADS5402.and we compared the two FFT results.
*Input Signal - 844MHz、Sampling Clock - 500MSPS、Input Signal and Sampling Clock were generated by Signal Generator…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5402 I am using the ADS5402 on a custom design card, which interfaces to an FPGA motherboard via high-speed mezzanine connector. I have verified that the ADS5402 works fine when test patterns are selected (via SPI programming…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5402 , ADS5400 Gentlemen,I have yet another question about interfacing with ADS5402.
Datasheet (last version of 4 Mar 2013) describes that custom test patterns (3 words) is available only. But I installed GUI (without…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5402ADS5402 is dual channel 800M ADC,does per ADC is single 800MADC or it is two ADCs to get interleave output? does there is the differential time delay of A,B output ?
thanks
Hi Takaki-san,
You will need to also purchase the TSW1400 EVM and HSDC PRO capture software to provide the capture solution. The PC itself cannot interface with the ADS5402. You will need an FPGA to provide the capture of the ADS5402 through LVDS interface…
Part Number: LM3880 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS5402 , Hi
I am designing a new Zynq 7030 circuit (XC7Z030-2FFG676I) and have been working on the power sequencing. I found the PMP10613 quite useful and am aware it is for a more powerful Zynq chip…
The ADS5402 is the super-set device that operates up to 800 MSPS. The ADS5407 uses the same IP as the ADS5402. For evaluation purposes you can evaluate the EVM (populated with an ADS5402 device) with a 500 MSPS (or less) sampling clock.

Hi Randall,
This is also a similar answer as the DAC3484. The ADS5402 has various modes of settings and it is difficult to have one generic power consumption to cover all usage. We typically uses 5A rating power bricks (available at Digikey) to power…
The ADS5402 only have non-decimation and decimate by 2 mode. You will have to either change the sample rate of the ADC to be 76.8MSPS for non-decimation mode or 76.8MSPS*2 for 2x decimation mode.
For your learning experience, I would encourage to research…
