Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7955 Hello,
Please let me know the behavior of ADS7955.
Vref is set to Range 2 then VA falling to under the 2*Vref.
In this case, Input range(max) becomes the VA.
There is not other problem.
Is my understanding correct…

Hi Shinya,
The faster throughput for multiplexed ADC is 1Msps(ADS7955- 10Bit/8CH,ADS7951-12Bit/8CH, but we do have ADS8578S , which is 8-ch/14Bit, simultaneous-sampling ADC with 200ksps throughput. Also, this ADC has integrated PGA, ADC driver and precision…
KF,
TLV1578 is a 10-bit ADC with parallel interface. Is parallel interface ok? I guess you meant TLV1548. This is a 10-bt SAR ADC with serial interface but wake up to conversion result is longer than a few us. I would suggest customer look at first …
Hi Vishy,
the problem was caused by a wrong description of the ADC in the device tree. See the following binding:
* Texas Instruments ADS7950 family of A/DC chips
Required properties:
- compatible: Must be one of "ti,ads7950", "ti,ads7951", "ti,ads7952…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7955 Hi,
I would like to implement the ADS7955 (adc to spi) and connect it with concerto F28M35x and I have some queries.
- Is there any problem to connect both devices by SPI communication?
- Does ADS79xx act as a master…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS7955 , ADS7954 Hello,
Could you please let me know the supply current of REFP pin for ADS7954 and ADS7955?
Can I calculate by reference voltage and reference resistance ?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV0838 , ADS7955 , ADS7951 , ADS7959
We are using TLV0838C ADC in our board to meansure the on board voltages. Here we need to measure
different voltages from 1V to 12V. To measure 12V,since ADC supports only 3.3V
max…
Hi Kevin,
So, if I interpret the ASCII drawings correctly, the ADS7951SB parts will have "ADS7951" in the upper right and "B" on the middle left, at least for the DBT package that I have used in my design.
While I'm confirming the…
