The ADS7956 works on the ADS7953EVM. The only change I had to do was, as you stated, load the ADS7953's executable as a plug-in to ADCPro.
(And the ADS7956 works on the ADS7957EVM with the ADS7957 executable loaded into the ADCPro.)

I see that the TLC1543 has recently gone to 'Last Time Buy' status. As it nears EOL, are you working on a new project? If so, you should consider an alternative device. The ADS7956 might be a suitable alternative for you.

I am not aware of the G4 part number for the TLC1542IDWR, however all of the material variants will be EOLed for this device. We do have a newer generation that we would recommend with the ADS7956 as a replacement.
