the AFE5832 itself is sufficent for gain and sonar settings. for sonar application, it is not necessary to use the JESD204B. LVDS is typically more than sufficient and cost effective.
for the TX, you can look into TX7316 and TX7332, but they are not designed…

right now, we didn't verify this kind of approach. mulitple EVMs aligment will be an issue.
TSW1400 supports LVDS on a Non-FMC connector.
if you need more channels, can you look at AFE5832EVM? AFE5832+TX7332 should work nicely.
