AFE7422 can support two channels output in Mode1. issue is that the J57 ini file for Mode1 (AFE74xx_RX_Mode1.ini) is currently configured for only 1 channel.

The image you attached is not viewable. To reset AFE7422 before starting SPI programming, RESETB pin can be used. See below snippet from Programmer's guide for details.

The difference is that the FMC+ is a bigger connector with more pins but it's still compatible with regular FMC devices so there is no limitation with the AFE7422 EVM.
