    AFE7769: AFE7769-EVM-Latte-Executing AFE77xx/bringup/devInit.py Error

    Hi WI Team:

    I want to configuration AFE7769 in Latte.

    a). I haved executed setup.py.No error appears

    b) I'm executing devInit.py. Error appears. Couldn't load iGUI.

    c). I'm executiing basicBringup.py. Error appears. SPI not working.

    Why these error meaasge appears after executiing those script?

    We are working on our custom SDR
    Our radio engineers have chosen a chip for our devices.
    It will be AFE7769.
    They ask if you can provide "S-parameters" files for AFE7769 RF in/out ports?
    Could someone help me with this?

    When the TX_PLL of AFE7769 is set at 880MHz, a large power DC will be generated, and the QMC automatic calibration cannot go down, affecting the ACPR, this problem has a small probability, about 1/250, help to analyze what are the possibilities; In addition, is the library file version of AFE7769 still V2.20? Is there any update?

    1) AFE configuration in progress.

    2) Could not detect FPGA Reset FTDI, Please reset FPGA manually.

    AFE7769: AFE7769: Layout suggestion || RF side

    Hi,
    We are using AFE7769 in our design as per out layout requirements  we are Planning to place SSRF section in the following manner..

    We are Planning to give isolation with shield on TOP and Bottom i.e (for TX & RX ) 
    And ORX signal we are Planning to route in the internal layers with GND Planes on the top and Bottom.
    For the feasibility of routing we might need to use one Via on single ended Signal for TX and RX

    AFE7769EVM: AFE7769

    We have a problem with Latte for AFE7769. After installation  TILatteV5p2p3.exe we do not see any .py files in the "project" folder. So main Latte window does not show any information or code.

    So we can't use LatteGUI with our board AFE7769EVM. I create request to the support, but they directed us here.

    How we can get *.py files for AFE7769?

    AFE7769: A problem with the attenuation accuracy of RX channel of AFE7769

    Hi Team,

    When doing temperature compensation on AFE7769, we found that there was a problem with the attenuation accuracy of RX. When the attenuation was 1dB, 2dB, or 3 dB, the error was negligible. But when the attenuation was 5dB, the error was very noticeable, and the attenuation was actually only about 4.2dB.

    What causes this?

    AFE7769: AFE7769&SN18064 JESD204B Sync drop issue

    Hi Team,

    The shared international repeater project currently uses an AFE7769 (4T4R2FB) and an SN18064 (4T4R1FB). There are problems with the channel 3/4 of SN18064

     

    1. SN18064’s problems: it’s under the 4TR, dual sync mode (channel 1/2 transmits and receives 2 SYNCs; channel 3/4 transmits and receives 2 SYNCs). Channel 1/2 is normal. The SYNC of the transmitting channel of channel 3/4 can be pulled high, but there’s no signal output. The sync received by channel 3/4 is always low.

    1) For the receiving channel of channel 3/4, the K code of lane3 cannot be seen in the FPGA data capture.

    2) The FPGA sends the PRBS code and uses the algorithm in TI's K C function to check the errors of each lane. It is found that there are many errors in lane 3 listed as follows:     

               

    3) On the FPGA side, the GTY performs loopback, and the sync pin is looped back at the same time. The 4 lanes can send and receive smoothly, the data is normal, and the sync can be pulled high.

    4) The jump wire outside FPGA loops back the GTY corresponding to lane3. Due to the jump wire, the speed cannot reach 10G and is reduced to 2.5G. On ibert, the prbs seems normal.

     

    Therefore, I think that a problem has emerged when SN18064 is configuring lane3. Could you please help me locate where the problem occurs? Thank you in advance.
