Part Number: BQ2052 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ35100 is this part still current?
the homepage labels it as active with no stock and shows a replacement part with a different use case (no primary cells)
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ2052 The only component I've found that appears to be appropriate for fuel gauging Lithium Primary single cells is the BQ2052. The absolute maximum VCC for the device is 7V. I need to gauge an Energizer 9V Primary battery…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ2052 Hi,
I'm attempting to interface with a bq2052 using HDQ communications. Are there any C code examples that might be helpful?
Thanks
Jaume,
It does not look like we have a gauge that will support your application. You could try scaling this one, but I do not think that you will be happy with the gauging performance.

Hi Karl,
I do not know of any protector ICs that are specifically for non-rechargeable batteries. TI does have two different gauging ICs for non-rechargeable batteries - the BQ35100 and the BQ2052. There are also a couple different reference designs…
