Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 hi everyone, i am using the battery charging ic BQ24030 to charge the li ion battery but it's not charging the battery. I am unable to find the fault in the circuit the circuit diagram i attached below. pls help…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 Hello,
Many TI chargers (e.g. BQ24030) datasheet list VBAT(REG) as the turning point from CC to CV.
However, battery protection ICs typically have MOSFETs in series with the current path, and the RDSon at charging…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 Hi,
If we set ISET2: High & PSEL: Low, USB should provide 500mA current to the circuit. I was wondering how this current will be distributed among 1A Load and Li-ion Battery (3.7V) .
Now that AC is disconnected…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 Hi,
Is there any way to set cut-off voltage using BQ24030. Presently, when I am discharging the battery, it cuts off at 2.98V-3.04V but I want it to stop supplying current at 3.7V. Is it possible? If not, is there…
Part Number: BQ24031 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 , Hi,
Considering the existing situation, and non-availability of BQ24030 and BQ24032. BQ24031 is the next best alternative. The battery voltage is regulated at 4.1V.
1) will there be a probl…
Hello,
In the data sheet for BQ2403x the makers keep referring to Specification Table. Where exactly is the specification table, because i cannot seem to find it. Please reply Thanks
Hi,
The voltage at VBAT is 4.2V
RSET is 1.22 k ohm
LDO is 3.3V +/- 0.1V
DPPM is 3.76V
ACPG and USBPG LEDs turn on when connected to respective sources
TS grounded through 10k resistor and voltage is 1V on the 12th PIN
The problem is that battery isn't…
Hi Tahar,
You mentioned that the TS pin can be disabled by connecting it to 10K to ground. I did this in my custom board but my charger is not working.
However, you mentioned on this other post http://e2e.ti.com/support/power_management/battery_management…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24030 , BQ24031 , BQ24030EVM Hi everyone!
I have been suffering a problem for 2 months and I have still unable to fix it.
I am trying to develop a prototype on a solderless protoboard so I converted bq24030 to PDIP package…
Hi Tahar-
On the BQ24030 in "battery supplement mode" (ISET2=low [100mA], only USB is present, and system load > 250mA):
What will the STAT1/2 pins status be? will they go into "charge suspend mode" (OFF/OFF)?
Thanks,
Asaf
