Part Number: BQ24083 Tool/software: I've been looking at the datasheet for the exact conditions for the activation of PG (Power Good) for the BQ24083. It specifies that if the input charging voltage conditions are met then this will be active low. I would…
Part Number: BQ24083 Hi, TI expert.
The customer's BQ24083DRCR was applied and the circuit was configured. ------------------------------------------------------------ ------ - The charging IC settings are as follows. - Input voltage: 5V - Charging…
Part Number: BQ24083 Hi, team.
What happens if a 4.2 V battery is connected by mistake while setting the bq24083 VBSEL = Hi (4.06 V)? Is it determined that the battery is fully charged, and STAT1 and 2 become Chage Done?
Best Regards,
Hello
The BQ24002 is an older generation of linear charger.
A newer device that may meet your requirements is the BQ24040 or BQ24090. If 4.1V battery charge voltage is required the BQ24083 may be an option.
Hello
Thanks for the information on your application.
Input voltage of 10V and 4.1V limits the number of device. If the input voltage was lower the BQ24083 may be an option, can be configured to 4.06V.
A switching charger BQ24105 may be an option…
Hello
The BQ24200 has a number of limitations. Take a look at the BQ24083 output voltage can be set to 4.06V, not 4.1V but closer. But may meet your requirements.
"In a typical circuit, capacitors C1 and C2 are polar capacitors. Is it feasible to…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24083EVM , BQ24083 Hi,
The BQ24083EVM board has a jumber on the VBSEL pin to allow the programming of the output voltage as 4.2V or 4.06V. The data sheet does not mention an internal pull down on the BQ24083 pin 7…
