Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24163 Hello, I am searching for a Li-ion charger and I found the bq24163. Do I understand right, that the SYS-Pin has always 3.1V-3.3V. So also with Vin connection and without? Or do I need a voltage stabilization behind…

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ24160 , BQ24163 I'm trying to decide which part, BQ24160 or BQ24163 is best for my design. Vsys(reg) for 24160 = 3.7v, and 24163 = 3.4v. I'm using a 10AHR single cell li ion battery so nominal voltage = 3.7v and max…

Actually, will the BQ24190 charge 1800mAH any faster than BQ24163? I think the 1800mAH will want to be charged at 1.8A or less, so the BQ24190 shouldn't have any advantage except running a little cooler.
BQ27530-G1 with BQ24163 might be best. BQ24163…
Hi Jeff
Thank you for the replies.
I assume for point 2, if the SYS was the source to charge the supercapacitor (and it was current limited appropriately), the maximum supply voltage would be defined by MINSYS i.e. 3.7V? or would it be possible to supply…
I would suggest using these. They are not hardware settable, but their default charge regulation voltage is 3.6V which is fine for your battery.
