In table 9 in BQ24259 datasheet, both REG03 [bit4---7]= 0000 and =0001 in REG03 register mean 128mA pre-charge current. is it an input error ?
by the way , no 640mA pre-charge current level is list.

Yes the bq2588x family does have a shorter time, I'm not as familiar with those parts. They are 2S chargers so I did not consider them for this application.
