Part Number: BQ25120AEVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25120A BQ25120A SYS output voltage is not stable when connected to the load, I connected a load to the BQ25120AEVM, and measured the output voltage, the voltage chaged obviously when I change…
Part Number: BQ25120AEVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25120A , BQSTUDIO , BQ25121A I am using bq25120a EVM to evaluate power management circuit. It works well while Vin(5V supplied by USB) exists, however if I get rid of Vin the whole module does not…
Part Number: BQ25120AEVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25120A , BQ25121A Hello.
I'd like to measure the current consumption of the IC to verify the number suggested by datasheet.
I am powering the EVM with SMU 5V with no load on DC/DC converter…
Hello Srinjay,
We provide these specs for buck converter and LDO in the datasheet electrical characteristics table. For evaluation I suggest you order one of the EVM available here: https://www.ti.com/tool/BQ25120AEVM

Part Number: BQ25120 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , EV2400 I am using the bq25120aevm development board. I have a lithium ion battery connected to J7 and a usb 5v charger connected to J3. I have the chip set up to output 1.8V on the SW pin. When I…
Hi Sharafadeen,
thanks for your reply.
The BQ25120AEVM evaluation module uses one C1005X5R1E105K050BC capacitor on IN (and LS/LDO and BAT),
which has an effective capacitance of 378nF at 5V rated input voltage.
This clearly violates the requirement of…
Hi gautham,
I'm sorry I'm on vacation for a while.
1. The voltage on the VSYS is 1.8v.
2.There was no response.
3. the CD pin is hign.
I have bought a bq25120AEVM and have more tests.
Sunbae,
Are you using the BQStudio with the BQ25120AEVM?
You should see all the registers when the /CD pin is high. what is the battery voltage?
regards,
gautham
