Part Number: BQ25176M Tool/software: Hi team,
I'm having an issue with the BQ25176M in my circuit. It only delivers the programmed charge current (500mA) within a narrow input voltage range (Vin = 5V to 6V). As I increase the input voltage further…
Part Number: BQ25176M Tool/software: Dear All,
I'm designing a (solar) charging circuit with BQ25176M for a LiPo battery. The device with the battery will be located in an outside environment with a chance of temperatures below freezing.
Does the…
Part Number: BQ25176M Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25176J Tool/software: Hi experts,
The datasheet says the BIAS pin of BQ25176M is recommended to be grounded through 10k resistor to enable charging. However this will result 38uA of leakage current…
Part Number: BQ25176M Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25570 , BQ25176 , BQ25173 , TIDA-00588 Hi dear people,
I am considering the BQ25570 for an Energy Harvesting Design getting the energy from a piezo element and charging a super capacitor.
However, the…
Part Number: BQ25176M When a fault condition is detected STAT pin blinks at 1 Hz. When input supply 4.52v and battery voltage 3.48v for 1 cell LiIon 4.20 V and 500mA.
What kind of fault ?

Hi,
I have seen that on the PDF for the BQ25176M , if I understand it correctly, that on P6, it states the following: VDO Dropout voltage (VIN - VOUT) VIN falling, VOUT = 4.35V, IOUT = 500mA…
Part Number: BQ25176M Hi Team,
My customer is looking for a linear battery charger device for LiFePO4 cell and refer the below required spec. If there have any devices please advise.
Required Parameters: 1. Input source: USB_5V and Solar; USB Input: 5V…
Part Number: BQ25176M Our LiFePo4 battery's protection circuit, when the battery drops down 2.0V, opens up the negative wire; to be resetted, it needs a voltage of 2.3V
What's the behaviour of BQ25176M when connected to such a discharged LiFePo4…
Hello
The BQ21040 has an OVP trip point of 6.6V, would work for a well-regulated power input. But your Wireless power Design may have more variation. A better device to consider is the BQ25176M, the OVP in 18V and unit has input DPM which would help. …
