Hello,
We are working on updating our datasheet for the next revision. As stated earlier, p lease keep VBUS disconnected, above around 5.8 V, or below around 3.2 V to achieve desired IQ.

Hello,
Discontinuous conduction mode commonly occurs at light load operation when the inductor current reaches 0 A before the high side FET is turned on. It makes sense it would occur at low charge current. The charge current is sufficiently low to switch…
Part Number: BQ25618E Hello team,
I would like to use the Bq25618e on a custom design. I would like to use ship mode functionality and Qon push button to power off/on my device. I do not see any issue when VIN not present and Vbat present: Host send ship…

Part Number: BQ25618E Hello TI team,
I have a custom design with the BQ25618E.
When I measure the /QON voltage, I find VQON=2.65V when VBAT=3.75V and power key not pushed.
In the datasheet, it is specified that there is a 200k pull up to VBAT with a…
Part Number: BQ25618E Hello,
I would like to ask you about the I2C voltage of the BQ25618E. In the I2C item of the I electrical characteristics of the data sheet, it is pulled up at 1.8V as a condition. I want to pull up at 3.3V, is that ok?
Best regards…
Part Number: BQ25618E Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25618 Hello,
I would like to ask you about BQ25618E. Looking at the datasheet, the value of ISYS_OCP_Q4 is not listed. Do you have information on this value? Fixed value? Or is it modifiable with a…
Part Number: BQ25618E Hello,
I am an FAE for a distributor that handles TI products. A colleague of mine asked a question in the thread below. And since I took over the case, I will continue to ask questions in this thread. In the thread below, my customer…
Part Number: BQ25618E
We are experiencing a symptom of repeated ON/OFF during charging on the BQ25618EVM evaluation board. The charging current turns ON/OFF cyclically around the battery voltage of 3.3V. This occurs both when the voltage is rising and…
