I'm working on a design using the BQ25792, and I'm considering configuring the input selection FETs with a common drain. Common drain dual package FETs are more available and efficiency and I am space constrained.
We do not have way to implement the GPIOs as you mentioned. Instead, we recommend using a circuit similar to the one below to drive the load switch enable pin. Please note that VSYS on the TPS25750 should be grounded.
