Part Number: BQ294502 Tool/software: Hello,
We have a question for you regarding the BQ294502DRVR overvoltage protection IC.
I see the output drive can be as low as 6V when VDD = 7.2V, but I do not see a maximum output specification for Vout on the datasheet…

Hello,
We are using zeners on the cell inputs to the BQ294502, but we're having some issues with open cell detect.
What is the failure mode if exceed the absolute max for V3 to V2 or V2 to V1.
This is determine if we need the…
Part Number: BQ294502 Hello,
We're working with the BQ294502 and have a question on the input filter.
The minimum recommended capacitor value is 0.1uF. Is this due to an RC time constant with the resistor?
Wondering if we could lower the cap value…
Part Number: BQ294502 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ77905 Hi, Team,
My customer want to use BQ294502 to do the 2~3Cell battery protection. Need to pass the UL2595, do we have some suggestion for this? How about the reference design or just use the…
Part Number: TPS7B81-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ294502 , Used by TPS7B81-Q1, BQ294502, etc. I can get the data from the part datasheets but the general package drawing for DRV 6 doesn't have them.

Dear Sir,
Here I am using a battery protection ic of bq294502 for 3s2p
the battery pack vout 9V~12.6V. each cell around 4.2V.
So far I found the OUT keeps high 2.49v and after checking the Vc1/Vc2/Vc3 , the voltage is 3.5938V/3.6v…
But it also tell us there is a possiblity that the bq294502 could blow the fuse.
Is there a possiblity that some cell connection sequence could cause bq28z610 Voltage(0x08) ,cell1 voltage, cell2 voltage,B attery voltage abd Pack voltage to be not stable…

Hi,
The datasheet state that the Icc(max) is 1.25uA at (V3–V2) = (V2–V1) = (V1–VSS) = 2.8 V with TA =–40°C to 60°C. Then do you have any reference information of Icc with room temperature? Our customer hope to know it just for their information.…
