hte bq2052 is old and NRND. Pls we have a newer bq35100 particularly suited for Li thionyl chloride and LiMnO2 batteries. If you aren't far out into your design, i would recommend using this.

The standard CR2450 coin cell is a LiMnO2 battery. We have a device designed specifically to gauge this type cell, please look at bq35100 .
