Hey Chen,
Yes it is possible that this could be the cause. Anything abnormal found in the units that reported 0 mAh for FCC could be causing the behavior. The abnormal voltage drop could be leading the gauge to calculate incorrect Ra table values.

Part Number: BQ40Z80 Hello,
I am using a third-party MCU as a host to communicate with BQ40Z80 to get gauge value. For this, when I implement the repeated start between the write process (CMD) and the read process (gauge value), the first byte that comes…
Part Number: BQ40Z80 Dear Sir/Ma'am,
We developed our custom BMS boards using the BQ40Z80 chip. Now we would like proceed for the mass fabrication of these boards.
I have one query related to this, is there any provision for mass programming this…
Part Number: BQ40Z80 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQSTUDIO Hello, Seeking for some help here! We are making a prototype board with BQ40Z80 (4800_0_04) gauge and now, as we started a testing phase, we have faced a problem where the gauge is working normally…
Part Number: BQ40Z80 Hello,
I am looking for some clarification on the cell undervoltage levels. Specifically, are there absolute minimums built in that cannot be bypassed? Or is it possible to completely disable the undervoltage cutoff by clearing all…
Wyatt Keller said: From what I can tell it looks like either the gauge is trying to clock stretch and the host is still trying to generate the clock signal with SCL low. Please ensure the host can support cock stretching with our gauges.
