Part Number: BQ51221 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51021 In the datasheet I2C section (page 7), the test conditions stated pull-up voltage = 1.8V and the abs. max. ratings (page 4) = +7V.
Is it safe to use +5V pull-up for normal operation?
If so,…
The BQ51222 is a dual mode WPC and PMA device.
If only WPC (Qi) is needed then a better solution is the BQ51020 or BQ51021. EVMs are typically available for Digikey or Mouser also contact local TI representative.
Son,
Are you interested in the receiver or transmitter displaying charge status? The transmitter (bq500511A) would need to get that information from the receiver. If it's a display on the phone, then that information does not need to go to the transmitter…
Also another question,
I was going through the comments in following post:

Hi Carlos Something is wrong with the set-up or data, as current is increased we should…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ25896 , BQ51021 Dear BMS team,
Does the bq25896 allow operation from wireless charging input ?
More precisely, I would connect the output of bq51021 to the charger input pin (VBUS) of bq25896.
thanks
Paul
Hi Janith
For data transfer RX to TX it may be possible to used the Proprietary Packet option of the bq51021 Receiver to send info to bq500215 TX. This would require I2C communications with both RX and TX.
Predrag,
The bq51221 and bq51222 are the same except how they report their WPC version. The bq51221 reports v1.1 and the bq51222 reports v1.2.
If you only want a WPC version, look at the bq51021. It only covers the WPC and it still has the I2C interface…
Aleksandr,
The bq51050B does not have a feature to note that it is on the pad.
The bq51021 does have a feature "pad detect" that does give that indication. See the PD_DET pin in the datasheet for more information. The bq51021 is a wireless power…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ51021 , BQ51221 , BQ501210 , BQ500212A I'm working on a project that will require the wireless receiver to identify the charging station it's interfacing for power. The Qi wireless power transfer specification states…
