I am assisting Anthony on this one.
The Coil is a good one we have used before, see TIDA-00318. But it will work best at low power <500mA output current. For higher current a larger coil will work better similar to Wurth 760308103202.

Is it possible to use this chip without Qi communications? There is patent restriction on where the communication can be used. I was wondering if the chip can be used with the Qi features.
