Part Number: BQ76925 Hello. I want to use BQ76925 with a 3-cell battery and a built-in 3V3 regulator with an external transistor.
I expect 10mA current consumption on the 3V3 rail. If I implement the typical circuit from the datasheet, I will have 100…
Part Number: BQ76925 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76952 , We are using the BQ76952 and having trouble with the accumulated charge at very low/idle currents. After currents have been calibrated on the BQ76925 the accumulated charge rises.
Our board…
Hi Udit,
I want to make sure something is clear about my previous post: VIOUT is not a differential voltage, it is SENSEP with respect to VSS or SENSEN with respect to VSS. As stated in the datasheet: The BQ76925 current-sense amplifier is preceded by…
Hi Anand,
Because the BQ76925 is an older part, existing resources are limited. Since this issue is appearing on all boards, I also think it is also safe to assume that the schematic or layout are to blame. I recommend continuing to comb through the board…
Hello Neehar,
I cannot see much that would be of concern.
The only things I can suggest, it would be good to add ESD protection components close to the connector for the OUT signal. Possibly a ESD diode to ground and place a 100-Ohm before and after it…
Part Number: BQ76925 Hello,
Could you please share more details on the expected max / min for "zero current output". The datasheet states 2V typical.
We're wondering if a higher zero current could be causing some pack under performance.…
Part Number: BQ76925 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ76942 Hello,
We are considering to use BQ76925 for 4 cell Li-ion monitoring and planning to use it with 100 micro ohm shunt to meet the monitor current above 100A till 800A.
We do not want to have…
Part Number: BQ76925 Hi Team,
Will the reg 0x00~0x0F reset to defaults after BQ76925 power off?
And will the reg 0x10~0x1F keep their existing value because of EEPROM?
Hello Jose,
Thank you so much for the fast response. Sorry for getting back to you late.
Disabling the CRC did solve our problem and now we can communicate with the BQ76925 chip and able to get the correct voltages at the VIOUT and VCOUT pins.
Best Regards…
