Part Number: BQ76952 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100 Hi,
I have three questions regarding the BQ76952.
The system needs to support stacks of 4, 7 10 and 14 cells. I would like to use VC0-VC3, VC16 for the 4 cells, VC0-VC6,VC16 for the 7 cells…
Hello Yanhong,
No, 5.2-uA should not enough to cause that much temperature to rise. I'd suggest to measure currents around the IC and see if you find any large currents flowing. Is there any current flowing out of the LDO's for example?
Yanhong…
Hi Swati,
There is no command or subcommand to read the I2C address, but you can read it directly from register address 0x923a.

Part Number: BQ76952 Hi
The TS1, TS3, and DDSG pins are configured as ADCIN (0XB3), and the corresponding voltages can be read through the 0x70, 0x74, and 0x7A commands.
However, the ADCs corresponding to TS1 and DDSG are always 0 in 0x0076 (DASTATUS6…
Part Number: BQ76952 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ34Z100 Hi
The customer want to design with BQ7695202 + BQ34Z100. Without writing OTP, considering low power consumption and power-on issues, they want to first supply power to the microcontroller from…
Part Number: BQ76952 The described solution to the problem of voltage on cell 16 during balancing by compensating the voltage on cell 16 or stop balancing to take a measurement are the only ways? Are there any other, new ways to solve this problem?
Part Number: BQ76952 Dear TI Expert,
I am using an external (NTC)temperature sensor 10K @ 25°C in TS1, I have a lookup table for that NTC (Resistance vs Temperature), and for this, I have to calculate R2 (Value of NTC in Oms) which is my requirement…
Part Number: BQ76952 Dear Expert
1.If IC I2C conmucation time off ,will IC will enter reset statues ,and could the protection like COV/CUV be set or just reset?
2.Why after cell balance ,there is an error of approximately 25mV of cell ?
Part Number: BQ76952 Hi,
I would like to configure Alert pin or Multifunctional GPIO to give signal when device enters into sleep Mode and Change its state when its is normal Mode. Is it possible?
For Example: Sleep Mode: Alert Pin - High( 3.3V )
