Part Number: BQ79616-Q1 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ79616 Tool/software: Hi Team,
I am using two BQ79616 IC's in daisy chain, the communication between MCU and base IC is through level shift circuit using UART.
I am using a configuration for 24…
Hi Wink,
The COMH/COML ports isolate the 616 signals from the BQ79600. So the BQ79600 would already be isolated from the high voltage. It is recommended for the BQ79600 to be isolated from high voltage.
Regards,
David

I would like to request example code for the BQ79616 for assistance on wake-up, auto-addressing, and polling (we are using the BQ79656, is the code similar…
Part Number: BQ79616 Tool/software: Hello and thank you for your support. We're considering the use of the BQ79616 battery monitor chip within an ASIL-D system and the chip is certified SEooC ASIL-D, while reviewing the safety concept we can see that…
Part Number: BQ79616 Tool/software: Hi teams:
I am now using 6 BQ79616s plus 1 BQ79600 and an MCU to implement the cell voltage acquisition function. Each BQ79616 uses 15 channels, and the BQ79616s communicate in a daisy chain. I found that during normal…
Thanks for confirming it, the DS was not clear about this or I missed it. I wanted to reference this thread in the one titled BQ79616: connection to VC0 to help others with the same issue. I worked with technical support before and I know how a good documentation…
