  • RE: cc1101 in receiver mode only. what can we do to reduce component count for BOM cost reduction?

For a receiver only you should consider CC113L instead of CC1101. The former is the receiver part of CC1101. A few features have been removed from the CC1101, but if you do not need any of these you will get the same performance using CC113L instead of…

CC1020 is not recommended for new designs as this is an old product. That said, the part will not be made obsolete and is sold in millions per year. The question is if you target narrowband applications or not. AX.25 is typically low data rate, but I…

  • RE: Can I change packet format in CC1101?

    Sverre
    Sverre
You can use the third byte as packet length. CC1101 data sheet, section 15.2.1 describes how to set up CC1101 for Arbitrary Length Field Configuration. Same is also true for CC113L/CC110L

AT this time I belive the Packet Sniffer software does not support any CC430 based board. When you run the sniffer it should show you typical baords it supports, like this : CC Debugger + SmartRFCCxx10TB SmartRF TrxEB + CC1120|CC1121|CC1125|CC1101|CC110L…
