Hi Barkley, I would then look into the new CC3300 device. Its not officially out but coming very soon. It does have higher output power of +20dBm. It will need a host cpu (either Linux or MCU) which you can use for the camera interface. The SDK supports…

If this is a new project, and your customer only needs Wi-Fi capabilities, I would suggest looking at CC3300 or CC3301: https://www.ti.com/product/CC3300

Hi Auguste, Sorry for the late response. Can you refer to the 'CC33XX Linux User's Guide'? The documentation there should help you get started. If you do not have this guide on hand, you can request access to the starting software and guides through the…

Hi Judith, When I wrote this I wasn't getting a boot log, I was only able to see bus activity for the SD card. I've since went and rebuilt all bootloader stages and ensured I was using the HS_FS images with our DDR timings. I have SPL logs now, but for…

Hi Sabeeh, Thanks for your answer. I see that the CC3301 is currently not in production. Is that compatible with a production phase that would start end of this year ? Also, I see that CC3300 from the same family that looks quite the same but doesn't…

Hi Kate, As far as I understand, sending a message over MQTT would require a WiFi chip, which would mean you'd need to get a WiFi transceiver device. Take a look at the CC3200 or CC3300 to see if they can support this. Best, Nate

Hi CSC, We currently don't have a SoC type of Wi-Fi chip that will support WPA3 in AP mode (none of our CC31xx or CC32xx families). However, we can support WPA3 personal in AP mode on our companion IC family when running Linux. The part number is CC330x…

Hi Ibrahem, Do you mean the CC3100? We do not have a CC3300. You should be able to find all pin functionality in the CC3100MOD datasheet: www.ti.com/.../cc3100mod.pdf or the CC3100 datasheet, depending on what device you are using: www.ti.com/.../cc3100…
