Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD16321Q5 , CSD17579Q5A , CSD87353Q5D , CSD87334Q3D In the WEBENCH design I did it came up with two discrete NexFETs. If possible I would like to convert them to a NexFET PowerBlock. But looking at the PowerBlock data sheets…
Part Number: TPS24720 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD16321Q5 , TPS24770 I would like to use TPS24720 design of the largest current 50A with CSD16321Q5 at 12V How to set PLIM of TPS24720, can you give a reference design
Part Number: CSD17573Q5B Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , , CSD18537NQ5A , LM5176 , CSD19534Q5A , CSD16321Q5 Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models I have pulled the most recent version of the CSD17573Q5B PSpice Model from the TI web page. I am running…
Part Number: TPS40304 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD16321Q5 Tool/software: WEBENCH® Design Tools Hi,
Having rather rare issues in cold temperture (-40c) with the tps40304 design.
Also in is are the MOSFET (CSD16321Q5) as the lower and upper FETs…
Current limit calc e2e okada.xls Bob,
Please find attached an excel calculator. I would also increase the soft start cap at SS pin to see if there is an inrush issue. If your output current requirements is near 4-5A , 2.49k would be marginal at cold temperatures…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CSD17573Q5B , CSD16409Q3 , CSD16321Q5 Hi members.
As my customers are considering CSD16409Q3 and CSD17573Q5B adoption, they have asked me the following questions.
Can you tell me?
Can CSD16409Q3 and CSD17573Q5B be considered…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM3150 , CSD16321Q5 Having an September 2014 Webench LM3150 design (LM3150MHX) for 12V to 5V buck DC to DC power supply by a human converted into a PCB design of 50x50mm results in:
The PCB was manufactured with 2Oz (35µm…
Hi Kevin,
The issue is not that another component is chosen, the issue that the webench user can't manually override this selection because the earlier used CSD16321Q5 is no longer available in the alternate parts list.
Regarding Cin, I don't know…
Nancy,
Schematics were attached earlier in this thread. We did remove the Inductors in the 12V path and the 4.99 ohm gate resistors.
All the MOSFETs high and low are CSD16321Q5 parts.
Hi Christine,
Have you checked what part on the power circuit is died? From the schematic, I would suspect that the spike and ringing on the switching node will be quite high for 16V input and that might cause FETs breakdown. CSD16321Q5 is 25V device…
