Part Number: CSD88599Q5DC Tool/software: According to the manufacturer’s datasheet, the CSD88599Q5DC component is recommended for use at a maximum frequency of 50 kHz. Is it possible to push it to higher frequencies, such as for a switched-mode…
Part Number: CSD88599Q5DC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DRV8323 , Tool/software: Hello, I am developing a 3-phase BLDC motor driver using the DRV8323 and CSD88599Q5DC. However, I have noticed that the voltage regulator is experiencing fluctuations due…
Part Number: CSD88599Q5DC Tool/software: Dear TI,
I am puzzled by TI unified mosfet product is not suggested on buck converter.
WEBENCH also do not propose any kind of unified NMOS array as well.
So what is the major concern on such lower inductance…
Part Number: CSD88599Q5DC Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TIDA-01485 , CSD88584Q5DC , TIDA-00774 Tool/software: Dear TI,
I am puzzled by the datasheet information that why is the potential of the top "EXPOSED HEAT SLUG".
Do it connected to…
Part Number: BOOSTXL-DRV8323RH Hi,
Can you please help to confirm if little resistor e.g. 10 ohm is needed in GH and GL line to prevent oscillation damage MOSFET ?
also for the resistor C1, is it connect to board GROUND or to MOSFET's SOURCE ? such as…
Part Number: CSD88599Q5DC Hello,
What specifically limits the switching frequency of this device to 50kHz max? Is it an SOA concern or some other device limitation?
Thanks,
Michael
Hi Bianshuai,
So sorry for the long delay.
The DRV8323RS has three internal CSAs and can have three different external sense resistors. However, the DRV8320 does not have internal CSAs and must use one sense resistor (or effective parallel combination)…
Hi Aniket,
Because of the parasitic inductance, the TVS devices should be place as close as possible to the power block devices minimizing the loop area between anode and cathode.
Thanks,
John
