Part Number: DAC3174 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC3164 , DAC3151 , DAC3171 , DAC3154 , , DAC3161 Hi,
In DA3174 datasheet (SLAS837B –APRIL 2013–REVISED JANUARY 2017)
Pins 63,62,52,51 are marked as NC in "Pin Functions" Table it is mentioned…
Joao,
The circuit shown in the DAC3171EVM should be used if you are using the DAC3171 with a LVPECL clock source. This is a LVPECL to LVPECL interface. The circuit shown above from the application report is a LVPECL to LVDS interface.

Jim
Hi,
I am glad the system is working well for you. For the signal you described, the DAC3171 would be a fine choice. if it works well for you then I would stay with it. If you need higher sampling rate later or higher bit resolution then we have other DACs…
Part Number: DAC3174 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC3171 , FMC-DAC-ADAPTER I want to test the DAC3174 device using Arria10 SoC Evaluation Board.
My plan is using the following card for testing purpose (Until we'll get the real board):
DAC3171…
Hey Jim ,
so what other ADC do TI have with the same bit number and sample rate that supports serial ands lvds output ?
We are basicly looking for some adc that will match the dac3171 .
We are planning on eventually using an fpga but how can we test that…

Hi, I want to design an IEC 60601 compatible isolation solution for a medical device. This device requires generating
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC3174 , DAC3171 , DAC3484 , OPA695 , THS3215 Hello there,
From the schematics of DAC31X1 EVM and DAC3174 EVM, the outputs of DAC31X1 and DAC3174 are AC-coupled. Can you recommend implementations of DC-coupled outputs?
Many…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC3164 , DAC3283 , DAC3171 , DAC3174 , DAC3154 Hi team,
We're interested in using the DAC3164 in our design and had a couple questions:
Most FPGAs guarantee Vod (output differential) of 250 mV. Looking at the datasheet…
Hi,
I have not seen such an issue with the SPI on the EVM. The fact that your system would work with the breakpoint inserted and not work without it would suggest a timing issue, although you describe a system that is running slowly enough that I would…
