Part Number: DAC8562T Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC7562T Tool/software: Hi,
My customer is looking to
1) Make a change on a current operational motherboard they already have by swapping the DAC8562T-EVM with the ADS1256-EVM on the same MMB0…
Part Number: DAC8562T Other Parts Discussed in Thread: ADS1256 , , , DAC7562T , DXP , DAC63204EVM Tool/software: I have the MMB0 operational with ADS1256 ADC but I would like to use the DAC8562TEVM with the same MMB0 card.
What is the SW I need to install…
Hi Adam,
The only difference is in the digital inputs. The DAC8562T was updated to support 5V TTL logic levels. You can see a difference in the VIH and VIL specs. Thanks!

Hello,
96kHz output sampling rate, on 2 channels. So 192kHz data input rate. SCLK is around 5 MHz.
I just measured DAC current, with a 10 ohm resistor between supply and dac8562T (R65 on previous schematic).
In blue , voltage around resistor …
Part Number: DAC8814EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8562T , DAC8814 , DAC81416 , I know that these three, if I am not wrong, can operate between -10 V and +10 V. But are they stable? I mean, what is the error that I can expect once I establish…
Hi Jake,
The DAC8562T has an internal reference of 2.5 V. It is disabled by default. To use it, you must enable it through SPI. The device also has a gain register, and it is set to a gain of 2 when the internal reference is enabled. This means that…
