Part Number: DAC8728 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC81408 Tool/software: Hello
I have a question regarding the power sequencing of the DAC8728. A few years ago, one of your engineers
responded that the power supplies could be applied in any order…
Part Number: DAC8728 In our design, we are using DAC8728 chipsets to set Analog outputs. The issue is, we are not able to get the output range of -10V to +10V.
Applied voltage details for DAC8728 are : AVDD = +15V, AVSS = -15V, DVDD = +3.3V, IOVDD …
Part Number: DAC8728 We are using the TI Part DAC8728.
Currently applied DAC8728 Circuit set as below.
1. AVDD +12V, AVSS -12V
2. DVDD +5V
3. IOVDD +5V
4. REF +5V
The desired value does not come out when setting Gain and offset value shown…
Part Number: DAC8728 I am designing a PCB for production using the DAC8728 IC for use as a fast changing & high resolution voltage reference. However, the datasheet doesn't specify what to do with the Vout0-7 DAC output pins that aren't used. Can they…
Hi Paolo,
I suspect that when you power one the board after a PC reset, the state of many of the signals are not controlled, so you get in a strange state.
1. You could tie these directly, but I think a better method would be drive RST low be default…
Part Number: DAC8728 Hi Team,
Do you have the test data of current specs for REF_A and REF_B on DAC8728? I can't find it from datasheet. Please share them to me if you have it in hand. Thanks.

Eric Jin

Part Number: DAC8728 Hi,
In the PIN DESCRIPTIONS section, The pin name AGND's description
I want to know why the AGND-A or AGND-B is need to tied DGND?
If I let they separate but short AGND and DGND at other place on PCB, will DAC8728 work?
