Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Dear DAC Experts,
just to be sure, in fact that the DAC8775 has four individual output channels, every channel can be programmed as I or U out independent of the other channels ? e.g. Ch 1 as Uout, Ch 2 as Iout, Ch…
Nithin,
I'm glad you were able to find that. I was pretty sure that there was an external clamp that was limiting the output.
If you have any more questions about the DAC8775, you can post back or start another thread.
Joseph Wu
Veselin,
The CCOMP does not go to the inverting input of the op-amp. Instead, this capacitance goes to the goes to the input of the output stage of the op-amp. This is basically a miller compensation of the op-amp.
I would not recommend greater than 470pF…
Hi Joseph,
we performed the test and the solution with lower TVS and series resistor passed the 1kV surge test.
Thank you for the support.
Best regards
Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi,
I am working on DAC8775.
In the datasheet of DAC8775, under alarm section, there are some error in which open circuit is one of them.
When is the open circuit condition generated? Because there is no fault bit…
Joseph,
I promised to get back once we finished testing the solution. Performance with OPA2990 is similar to TLV9362. I can see from thermal evaluation, that DAC and PSU temperatures are much lower at Iout, open circuit. And the OPA2990 doesn't show up…
Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi,
We use the DAC8775 in our PLC AO-module project.
Now we test the Settling Time of DAC8775 but the waveform is about more than 1ms, it is slow that it is only 15-30us in the datasheet, please kindly review our schematic…
Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi team,
I am using DAC8775 for a product that's under development.
Steps followed to configure DAC8775:
1. Reset Register(0x01) = 0x0001;
2. Reset Config Register(0x02) = 0x0012;
3. Select Buck-Boost Converter…
Part Number: DAC8775 Tool/software: Hi,
I'm trying to program the DAC8775. I followed the setup guide exactly like Brian did, but I ended up with an output of 0V, with a lot of noise.
Status Register returns meaningful values and when I write in…
Zoey,
I think short answer is that you can use the DVDD to power two ISO7641 devices. However, there are limitations to that.
The ISO7641 current consumption depends on the data rate and how much capacitance the output is required to drive. If the capacitance…
