Part Number: DAC8831 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA277 , Tool/software: Hi!
I have wired the DAC 8831 along with OPA277 to implement a bipolar application in the following way:
The issue is that on power on, I record a voltage of -1.3V at the output…
Part Number: DAC8831 Tool/software: Hi!
I have purchased the DAC8831 IC for an application. The DAC uses SPI interface. Unfortunately, I am unable to find the relevant commands and corresponding registers to communicate with the DAC using microcontroller…
Part Number: DAC8831 For the DAC8831, there are 3 different grades/part numbers, in particular, as it relates to the worst-case relative accuracy/INL:
16-Bit, Ultra-Low Power, Voltage Output Digital-to-Analog Converters datasheet (Rev. D) (ti.com) H …
Part Number: DAC8831EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DAC8831 Tool/software: I am trying to use DAC8831 to produce an analog signal around 20Hz - 20kHz. I followed the schematic suggested by the datasheet and added all the capacitors mentioned in the…
Part Number: DAC8831-EP Hello Team,
Good day. My Customer wanted to know if what will be the result if he supplied Vref above Vdd? The Vref specified between 1.25V and VDD in electrical characteristics. They wanted to know if the component is stressed…
Part Number: DAC8831-EP Other Parts Discussed in Thread: REF3440 , OPA211 Team, working to design the DAC8831-EP for a new system and I have a few questions/concerns I was wondering if you could help address.
I would be using the part in Bipolar mode for…
Hi Jack,
This drawing is much clearer!
The DAC8831's output should be connected to a buffer as the datasheet indicated. It looks like that the DAC may be able to drive the LPF, but it will be better option to have buffer after DAC output.
Jack Terrell…
Part Number: DAC8831 Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI , Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models According to the DAC8831 data sheet, the digital interface for this device is SPI.
Why is it parallel in the TINA simulation?
