Part Number: DCP010505B
I noticed on the REV H datasheet, that there is no reference to the UL1950 Testing conducted on the part. It only mentions the 1KVrms for 1-second flash test and the maximum continuous working voltage across the isolation barrier being 60VDC or 42.5VAC. Older versions of the datasheet mentioned the UL1950 Testing - what did that consist of?

Hello expert,
Customer would like to replace MINMAX MAU202 with TI solution. May I know if DCP010505B is okay for them? Or do you have more suitable solution could share with us? Thanks a lot!!
Best regards,
Ann Lien

I've noticed in other DCP01 series datasheets - specifically the DCP0124 datasheet (attached) from Burr-Brown listed the 1KV isolation as being based on "life-test data". Is the reason for the 1KV continuous isolation no longer being valid due to the fact that TI no longer performs life-testing? Is the Texas Instruments component design different that the original Burr-Brown?DCP0124.pdf

Understand that the DCP01 Series is good for 1KVrms for up to 60 seconds per the UL1950 test only. However, is the reason behind the continuous voltage change to 60VDC across the barrier due to the fact that life testing is no longer conducted for this part? The old Burr-Brown specification said that the 1KV continuous voltage was based on life test data. I've inserted the old specification. Is this the reason why additional clarity into the specification was provided in the specification sheet?3173.DCP0124.pdf

Dear TI,
Part Number: DCP010505B
I use DCP010505B to GaN-base half bridge topology's driver Vcc. when the bus voltage near to 200V, DCP010505B's output will be drop to 0V, after 400ms DCP010505 will work again.
Did DCP010505 have some application restrictions, like CMTI problem or others ?

Thanks for your reply. Do you have any recommended model name in TI for Half Bridge Gate Driver Application (with 400V bus voltage)?

dears,
Do we have p2p part with DCP010505BP, but with higher isolation grade such as 3KV?
Thanks and Best Regards,

Part Number: DCP010505B
according to the datasheet application circuit, Cin used electronic capacitor 4.7uF, no load output voltage is 10.75V (+Vout to -Vout) of DCP010505BP.
but the specification listed the ouput voltage is 5V.
is the sample damaged? I tried 2pcs samples.

Dear TI support,
I need to clarify the isolation level of your Isolated DC/DC modules DCP01B or DCP02B.
In your previous from last one on the web d.s. you specify that you warranty min 1kVrms for min 60s, :
But in your actual d.s. here of Feb 2017:
http://www.ti.com/lit/ds/symlink/dcp010505b.pdf
you have:
So is the device worse than before about isolation ?
Is something wrong in last d.s. ?
Isn’t it with the same isolation that he was till feb 2017 ?
Have you changed something ?
It is very important for my customer that already use it from some years and now maybe they have to change device for to maintain the same level of isolation required from the application.
Thanks a lot
Antonio
