Part Number: DEM-OPA-WSON8-EVM Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA858DSGEVM , OPA858 Can you provide the size/type of passives and SMA connector for the EVM?
Regards, Bernd
Hello Lance,
We do offer the DEM-OPA-RGV-EVM , which is an generic EVM board designed for VQFN (RGV) package PLC and DSL line drivers. The associated user's guide showcases the EVM functionality, which can do either two amplifier channels or a single differential…
Nick,
As I mentioned in the previous reply, I will sample the high side current signal. So I should decrease the CM voltage from -50V~150V to -0.1V to 3.3V.
The decrement will decrease the current sample gain so the OPA should provide another gain utilized…
Hi Wayne,
GAMP and OPA module has two input pins and one output pin, they can both enabled with ADC sampling enabled.
From my perspective, user always want to get the output of OPA/GAMP rather than input of them. Due to OPA and GAMP always worked to amplify…
Joaquin,
There is an EVM available which you can get from TI.com to test yor circuit (link below)
https://www.ti.com/tool/DEM-OPA-RGV-EVM
In your schematic (snippet below) the input swings from 0V to 3.3V, so for the time period in which it is 0V, it…
Thank you again for quick response. Yes, I am looking at a unique source to input to the OPA. The source has a
known and specific characteristic impedance versus frequency and in the ideal case, I wish to target a unity gain buffer
that has an optimum…
Hello WorkerBee,
I am going to go through your statements and provide feedback for each one:
WorkerBee said: the DEMx[1:0] pins control the Vod and De-emphasis, which affect the ouput drive of the channel
the EQx[1:0] pins control the EQ settings which…
Ah, I see your reasons... May want to check with that team (OPA team) but TI has a pretty strict obsolescence policy, so, production may go easily till that time... Anyhow, the same team can otherwise recommend something but we haven't tried it, so, you…
Hi Mori,
Yes, it also can do.
The tips is that you should set the OPA works as the buffer mode, so you should RTOP on the NSEL for this. Then the output will follow what you input in PSEL, which can be DAC8/DAC12/VREF.
B.R.
