I removed the AC coupling capacitor to the TPA and still get 0.555Vpp out. I also confirmed this on the DEM-PCM2912AEVM eval module. Both output the same Vpp.
Hi Eddie,
First I'd recommend double-checking that the PCM2912A will work properly in the more modern "Type C" architectures as the product was designed before the standard was in existence.
Second, take a look at the reference layout in the DEM-PCM2912A…
Hi,
Here's a few notes and questions.
1.) The PCM2912AEVM is a nice tool with an example schematic and layout that can be followed for basic configuration. https://www.ti.com/tool/DEM-PCM2912AEVM
2.) If you're not planning to use the VOUT signals…
Dear Ivan
Thank you for your suggestion.
I also see the pop noise at EVM board( www.ti.com/.../dem-pcm2912aevm).
Could you suggest a mute circuitry to let me follow (at the output triggered by loss of data on the USB port)?
Thanks

Hi,
I also have the same question regarding Linux driver support for PCM2912A. We have ordered DEM-PCM2912AEVM module and we want to connect it to another board through USB interface. The other board has Linux running on it. So if we enable USB Audio…
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DEM-PCM2912AEVM Good day:
I am evaluating the DEM-PCM2912AEVM.
How do you change the gain/mute for the sidetone programmable attenuator over the USB protocol? The chip design spec says it's contained in feature unit…
I have a customer interested in obtaining:
- Orcad Schematic for DEM-PCM2912A EVM
- PCB & Schematic decal (TQFP (PJT)) for PCM2A12A
http://www.ti.com/tool/dem-pcm2912aevm site does not have schematics
